Government aid in the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors will continue to be valid until the end of 2029, according to the announced State aid list.
Farmers will be able to rely on aid until the end of 2027 to compensate for crop damage caused by adverse weather events that can be assimilated to natural disasters, with funds provided through a direct subsidy of up to 80% of eligible costs.
Aid to compensate farmers for the costs associated with the implementation of measures under the National programme of measures for the control of soil pests of potatoes of the family Wireworms (Elateridae): The programme is valid until the end of 2029 and the funds are to be provided by a direct subsidy covering up to 100% of the costs.
The aid for the certification of holdings in the fruit and vegetables sector under the standard will continue to apply GLOBALG.A.P. until the end of 2029, where a direct subsidy provides up to 100% cost coverage.
With regard to the programme "National strategy of restrictions for the control of the tomato borer moth" - Tuta absoluta Meyrick (Lepidoptera), farmers can rely on state aid until the end of 2029, covering up to 100% of the accepted costs through a direct subsidy.
Farmers can also receive support to join the Quality Scheme for seed and planting material production until the end of 2029, as well as under the Promotion of the production and consumption of certified (quality) seeds for cereals, fodder, oilseeds, potatoes, tobacco, cotton, certified and CAC seedlings of fruit crops, certified and CAC vine seedlings and certified and CAC vegetable seeds. This aid will be valid until the end of 2029.
Additional assistance will be provided to small and intermediate enterprises in primary agricultural production and in the processing of agricultural products for entry into exhibitions, covering their associated costs.
Assistance to compensate agricultural producers for the costs associated with the implementation of restrictions under the National Strategy for the control of pests on permanent crops during the winter interval will operate until 31.12.2029 through a direct subsidy with it.
